Rob Roy Boat Club – Building the Best
CORONA VIRUS UPDATE
Rob Roy Boat Club is very aware that rowing is a leisure (!) activity and that, in any return to the sport sanctioned by British Rowing, we have a duty of care not to exacerbate problems for those on the Covid-19 frontline.
On the basis of the best medical and safety advice available to us, we have permitted a limited return to the river for club members in single sculls, subject to strict adherence to CRA and RRBC Covid-19 safety rules. Any club member wishing to resume single sculling must first contact the Membership Secretary to be allocated a boat.
We all hope that there is no spike in the infection rate as a result of the lockdown relaxations and that we can move towards getting the whole Club back on the water in all our boats as soon as it is safer to do so.
