Masters A VIII with medals at Henley Master’s Regatta 2013

Men’s Masters VIII A beat City of Cambridge in a straight final to take gold.This race was won in a time of 2.57, verdict ½ a length.

Victorious Master’s B VIII with medals at Henley Master’s Regatta 2013

Men’s Masters VIII B took gold in a straight final against Crabtree Boat Club. This race was won in a time of 2.52, verdict ¾ of a length (fastest time of the regatta).

Stefan Gräf claimed his second gold of Sunday, less than three hours after stroking the mens VIII B boat, with an MB1x win by a canvas against Mr. Brzeski of Club des Regattes. Earlier in the day, Stefan easily won his semi-final race against Mr. Lock of Leamington Rowing Club.

‘We finished this great day by having a big splash in the Thames. I am so glad that the hard work training in the VIII paid off,’ says Stefan.

Andrea Bosnyak raced the WB1x semi-final conceding by two lengths to winner Ms. Burke of Exeter Rowing Club.

So, two semi-finals races and three finals races at Henley Masters, leading to three gold medals- excellent results for Rob Roy Boat Club.
